Talking Adding water to battery ???

Is our battery maintenance free ??? Or do we have to add water to it ???
Do those plastic pieces unscrew ??? Or just pop out ???
How much water to add ???
Should it be distilled water ???

The battery is basically maintenance free but it is worth checking the electrolyte level (at least initially). Unscrew the plugs and you will see a lip about an inch down (maybe a little less). The electrolyte level should be just to that lip. Use ONLY distilled water to bring it up to there if it is not.

no it's not a maintenance free battery, you do have to top iy up every 6 months with electrolyte from pepboys or use distilled water.
