X-Fire Magnaflow Exhaust Video on Youtube
i am rather undecided on it right now ... although it sounds great i am wondering if it is too much noise for the rate of motion the car is traveling at ...
meaning does it seem like a slow nice sound car in real life ... hard to tell from the video as it never offers much sense of speed.
i may just weld up a system to see how it sounds and sell it if its not my thing.
thank you for putting together that video, it was very very well done and the car does sound great.

Both of the clips while the car was in motion were at near WOT, so the muffler is only about 20% as loud during normal acceleration and sounds stock while cruising.
With this and a few other exhausts clips for or cars online, you can really get a feel for how the crossfire's engine actually sounds...

That's the same one I got on my crossfire...
Sounds pissed at low speeds... And at about 75 mph its not too loud.
I'm really happy with the purchase...

Sweet !
That's how these cars should sound from the factory.
Really nice, sounds like a real sports car should sound.
My buddy just got a tube bender at his shop now I just have to decide on which Magniflow to order.
Rectangular, or three or four inch round tips, I'm looking at their website today.
Pretty cool, thanks for the video post.

This only applies if you are putting it on yourself...and if you care to help your installer out if you wish to have someone else do it for you.
Just hang onto your stock parts - re-install them if you don't like it.

Damn, the xfires sound too much like the ricer 4 bangers with the modded exhaust, its unfortunate. its weird because I think the Subaru WRX STi's even sound good with their 4 cyl. engine with the modded exhaust, you'd think with a 6 cyl engine, even on the srt-6 producing the power it does, would sound more like a sporty/muscle/some what exotic car but, no...

Ever heard a viper? It sure isn't a deep sound, considering it has 10 cyls. It is more raspy...similar to an indy car.
I assume a lot of it has to do with exhaust routing, flow, etc...but I'm not sure.
I'm a Mustang guy (got two of them), so they all sound like ricers to me...but the clip above sounded a lot better than most ricers I've heard.

I have had alot of positive comments on my magna flow set up, but I deleted the rear cats and put in a mf dual in /out and dual 2 1/4 pipes back to quad tips, getting ride of the sharp bends around the rearend, which made a huge difference.
