Default Unbolting the exhaust

Has anyone run their car with the muffler section of the exhaust removed? (and nothing put in it's place except maybe a turndown or straight pipe).

How loud? And how much does that final section of exhaust weigh?

Default Re: Unbolting the exhaust

Well, I've tried it now. Unfortunately, I didn't weight it while it was off.

The sound was really nice...obviously pretty loud, but pretty cool. Time to get a straight pipe made.
