It might work... everything requires modifications to fit. try it out and see what it gains you. I bet it has larger air filters than stock MBZ air box. Which probably wont make more power but you will get more miles out of the air filters.

There is also a little effect created in some air boxes, that boost power a tad, by creating a large volume of air for the engine to suck down during a quick acceleration, but it most likely wont make more hp. If you had a g-meter, you could measure it by swapping out boxes. This could also have to deal with the harmonics built into the box, which might have a little ram air effect.
