Default SRT6 Basic Mods?

Are they any or a set of BPU's to do to the SRT6 to gain more power?

From reading/lurking here, it seems as though ASP pulley and ECU tune seems to be the big thing. What about K&N filters? Or a larger exhaust?

Over Drive Pulley System - (ASP, EVO, Renntech) - Biggest Gain
SL55 Intake Y-pipe - Modest gain
K&N - Modest gain
Iridium Spark Plugs - Modest gain

The ASP Pulley / ECU Tune is a least expensive ODPS ($1,400). Renntech and EVO offer matched pulley/tune upgrades but cost more. ($2,800 - $3,400).

There are no real exhaust upgrades that produce measurable power only more sound. No A/M headers but I read a thread on the forum where someone had a custom header set built for around $2,800.

Internal engine components if you want to really wrench and spend.

How fast do you want to go and how much are you willing to spend are your only limitations.

I've been doing some looking around and Kleeman sells headers for the SLK32, but they're uber expensive. Something like $1,800 dollars.

Does anyone make camshafts for these engines? Kleeman does as well.

that's the going rate for headers on this car, even if they where made in the states they would run $1,400 - $1,600.

Yeah, I figured.

I keep seeing this SL55 mod. I searched for it and couldn't find a good picture of it. What does it do/replace?

If I was to buy an ASP pulley setup, what would a good chip/tune to use with it? Kleeman? EvoSport? RennTech?

It replaces the SRT6 air boxes. Reviews are mixed.
I'd go with NeedsWings' intake when it gets released.

EVO is teamed up with Powerchip, so you can go straight to Powerchip for the same tune.

All the major/reputable ECU tuners have a setup for the 3.2L AMG engine. Be sure to let them know you have a 14% ODPS and you want the top speed raised to 200 MPH (if you want). I've been advised not to raise the max RPM setting. All the tuners have the parameters to set the ECU. Reputation and ability to get re-flashed are important issues IMO.
