smut on tail pipe's
also i noticed while washing the car on the tail pipes they are like a little black **** in the center of the tail pipes.
i guess this is where water drips out from first starting the engine (condensation).
i have seen this on other car's like a Grand Prix, haven't really looked at a crossfire, just purchased it.

SRT Crossfires (except for a few, apparently) have black paint inside the tailpipes.
Unless you use a top tier gas, you will also get some black soot on the tailpipes.

Why is it that when I read the title of this thread I had a mental image of a tailpipe with tiny pictures of a bunch of nude women posing provocatively!
Do you have any idea how disappointing it was to see that someone actually meant "soot"?

Boy am I glad we got that straightened out.
I thought HuuDoo had the optional "R" rated tailpipes, and I was starting to feel a little disappointed because mine just came with the "G" rated variety.

Hey Huudoo, glad you are going to make the tail of the dragon run...I purchased my X-Fire used as well and there was a black soot build up on the chrome exhaust tips. I sprayed them with a mild wheel cleaner and brushed the seams with an old tooth brush...my dealer asked the other day if I drive it or not because they are so clean and bright, LOL! Just be sure to rinse the heck out of them if you use this method as the acid in the cleaner will discolor or corrode the chrome if you leave any on it.
Good luck and see you at the Dragon!
