Has anyone heard an update on the oil filters? I am due and want to stick with the MB fleece but with all the recent posts stating the updated filters are coming soon, I am hesitant. I am sure the update is for a good reason other than the big $ bill.

I don't think you can go wrong with the MB fleece. Despite all that is said about oil filters, I think the worse you would have to do is change your filter at 3500 miles instead of 7000. Just my opinion though.
