Default MB E320 Engine

Can anyone tell me if the V6 3.2L that came in the MB E320 is the same engine that's on our XF Limited?

What year? I know there are three MBZ 320 engines, one is a straight 6, then there is the m112 in our car and then the new bluetech Diesel.

It is a V6, no question about that. This guy is selling me the engine cover, but it looks a little different than the one on the SLK.

If you like the look, go for it ! I'm pretty sure it'll fit just fine. Check to see if the two intake tubes from the radiator cross member openings have the same ends. The Crossfire engine covers tubes are round, some of the Benz tubes are a sorta rounded triangle shape. If that's the case, you just need a pair of tubes for the SRT6 Crossfire. Your local MoPar parts guy can get 'em for about 15 bucks a piece.

That intake will snap right on but you will have no air cleaners. That engine cover is designed to have one large airbox on the right side front corner under the hood. Go on Ebay and look at engine pictures of a ML320's for sale and you will see what I mean. This is the same engine cover that was on my 2003 ML320

Here is a pic. This would be a good engine cover for someone wanting to convert a non SRT to a single Needs Wings type intake.

No it will not work. Try to find an engine cover from a SLK320, CLK320, C280 . These covers are black and say Mercedes down the middle. they are also two piece so make sure you get the both peices. The nose section snaps into the main body of the cover. Here is a picture of what you are looking for:
