Default New Intake and Cat-back

Finally got it all together and photo worthy. Any one interested in the intake can go to www.intakehoses.com and build their own for under $100. The filter is a universal K&N 3" cone.

Why not add just a couple more segments so the filter is outside behind the grill?

I'm debating if it's worth the extra restriction of 3 more bends and 2 feet of tubing just to grab a the colder air. I live in SoCal and the temps hit 100+ all summer so the air won't be that cold anyway.

Up to you man but I think its been pretty much proven on here that drawing air from inside the bay will net you zero and probably will rob some. Good luck

I'll take a closer look and see my options on how to route it. It seems the void behind the fog light is the most popular place to draw from. I'm not sure I can keep the 3" dia. all the way through though.

It's about 3-1/4" but a 3-1/2" elbow works. That's the dia. if you just remove the stock air box and use the it as is. You can break it down more but I didn't feel the need to. If you look at the Needswings intake you can see they pulled the actual sensor from the housing and bolted it into their intake.
