I am going to run at least a 12.99 next week (TVT I need your help)
gonna have to rip out the engine managment and throw in a stand alone, forced induction , and really expensive race fuel.
I suggest you start looking at Lithium battery technology, and get yourself a 300hp electric motor.
the way fuel prices keep climbing some of you will be trying hard to give away an srt6

As long as he realizes (and I'm sure he does) that he's going to have an uphill battle, let the guy have his fun. He probably already knows that there aren't going to be too many performance mod options available, and that he's going to have to spend a bunch of money to get close to SRT performance. But, I think it is great that TVT has mods for the normally aspirated Crossfires. Go for it!
In the end, I hope he smokes someone in an SRT. That'll make that SRT driver think twice before judging a limited. As for me, I'm just gonna buy more mods so I can keep ahead of him!

Now boys, you'd better behave and get along, or I'll ground the both or you.....I bought my SRT because of its limited production, the engine was a bonus...at my age...I am tired of shifting....every car I had until this srt was a stick, loved them, drive w/ the best of ya, but I like what I bought...but it is redundant to make some things go faster when there are other ways to get there...it's your money...I had a big block camaro in '71...4 big blocks later, I put in a small block...obtained even greater times....its about the car...we all own XF's so lets try to get along...Now I have been called a **** several hundred times over the yrs and it doesn't both me...a **** I am....of coarse I am a cop.....go figure...
I don't think you will have a problem getting into the 12's and to do it with a non srt that is great. i did it with a PT Cruiser and is now the fastest PT in the state of fl. and the third fastest in the country .. so go for it and have fun & injoy keep us informed on what mods you did and you may want to look at the free grille mod that i did to the crossfire i went from a 13.40 to 13.25 with the grill mod only . jim
i am finishing the nitrous finally, just have to tap into the fuel ran into some rain today so didn't get a chance to do anything outside. soon as thats done i will be getting my times.
yeah old, u no longer have the crossfire, now have a 350z, but i had a 75 shot, intake and exhaust on my crossfire, and let me tell you gonna take a hell of a lot more spray for 12's, i never got a chance to go to the track but got my *** handed to me by a camaro ss that goes 13.5, and my z the way it sits still n/a would have smoked the crossfire on spray too. id like to see times at a track but def. don't expect anything faster than 14.5
He guys I am still around. I just built a turbo civic we ran it last sunday and went 12.30's. I had lost interest in making the crossfire fast for a while so I took 5k and built the civic. I still want to do the tvt kit and spray but I am just debating is it worth it. I love the crossfire but lack of aftermarket support and the cost makes me wonder weather I should even bother. Look at it this way for 5k I bought a shell but together a mildly modified LS/Vtec with a ebay turbo kit and replaced the turbowith a gt35 turbo and some good tunig I pulled a 12.30. If I put 5k into the crossfire where do you think I'll be. Anyway I still love my crossfire it may not be the fastest but it is the coolest car I have ever owned.
exactly, there really is no future for the crossfire in my eyes, it is a nice looking car but thats as far as id take it. Many flaws with the way it was built, the interior was my big problem squeaked and creaked worse than my dads 88 ford pickup. the options for superchargers and turbos are as of now out of question because of many reasons, and the comment on the 13.9 is there a video or time slip for that, when i had the crossfire i checked his page daily put haven't in a while. i don't believe it would go that time with a 75 shot, must have alot more done on top of it.
my buddy has a 91 hatch with a b18 in it with a gt35r turbo kit on it and 100 shot, still tuning and doing suspension, it will be out next summer, but that things gonna rip hard. .
i just looked around and found the thread with his 13.9, thats good, actually better than i expected, but it is auto and no traction problems so id say thats about as good as its gonna run and thats why he showed that one time slip. still though 13's isn't bad, too bad it is taking spray to get there though. my z 13.7 bone stock, lol. . have fun modding guys, is it really worth it though. .
I actually such at drag racing and see my weight slip at 3480 lb + my body, I'm really heavy. Anyways with a new tune and fixing what I just said I can do low 13.00s
