Default Engine Noise Need Help!!! Asap

Ok so a few weeks ago I started noticing a noise coming from the engine bay, sounds like what other described as marbles insides the engine. It only does it when at idle and up to about 1500 rpm but after that it stops as your increse rpm. Im taking it to the dealership tomorrow at 2 and droping it off. Anyone have any similar problems or anything like it. I want some what of an idea so when I go tomorrow, I can tell them what I have read it might be. It has got louder and louder and today it was pretty loud. Im starting to worry its some major internal problems. Does anyone think I should ask for a new engine? Haha, I know its a bit early to be hinting in that direction but if it comes to it....?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

It will be interesting to see what the dealer has to say about the cause. Please post and let us know. How many miles do you have?

Sounds like some exhaust leak. If the car is idling OK & runs like normal but just noisy.......
I mean, you don't have any noticeable engine problems when driving - just the marbles - right?
If any of the pipes up front are cracked you will get a funky noise from what sounds like the engine area. What makes me suspicious is that you hear it at idle but not when driving plus the fact that it's getting louder.
Let us know what the dealer says.
Is it still under warranty?

Ya gotta give him some time. The dealer has only had the car for just over a month.
My car has been at the dealer for one month today. Wonder how much longer for me?

So caughtNthefire, what happened?

is it similar to a rather loud tapping that increases in momentun up to 1500-2000 RMP and quiets? Also does it go away after it warms up a little bit??? usually about 5-8 minutes after start up...
