Gas poll* What type gas do you use?
Lets have a poll as to what type of gas everyone uses and miles on the car as well as any engine problems. So regular, super, or premium. Miles on car and if any engine problems.
I have always used super because it is the same price as regular at breaktimes. I have 50,000 miles and the engine runs and sounds perfect. I know premium gets a little better gas mileage but not enough to be worth an extra 35 cents a gallon.
Thanks,
Josh
ps. I posted this below but no one responded so I changed the title so everyone knows it is a poll.

I use premium because I didn't know I had a choice. I thought I would do damage to the car if I didn't use it. I'm guessing now that I'm wrong about that? My car has a little over 80,000 miles on it and the engine is like silk. No problems at all....except that there aren't enough places for me to race around at 100mph. And I'm quite surprised that rain actually falls on it.
93 premium for me.
You can run super or regular........the PCM will just retard the timing a little and you won't get as much performance. You may also have to replace the cats sooner than those that run premium.

93 for me too! I've only got 5200 miles but I need my honda ridgeliner running around for the business during the week.It helps when home is less than two miles from your business. If the errands are done by lunchtime I jog back from lunch
Premium only here. 6800 miles and running like a dream, somebody pinch me...I think that I need to put fewer miles on per week...Afterall I bought it 4/5/08 with 23 miles on it....eeek. needless to say, permagrin is a major factor and so are the head turns that are constantly coming my way...love it.
Nothing but premium in the SRT6. But with gas prices so high, I can't get my wife to do anything better than midgrade in her daily driver Limited. So far, no problems with it. It has 32k on the clock.
