Default 3.2L Connecting Rods on Fleabay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200260458786

The seller states in their ad that these will not fit the SRT6 supercharged engine. Are they different rods then the N/A (forged perhaps?) ?

I don't know what the difference is but they cost more.

I'd be very skeptical buying rods sight unseen.

The ones we pulled from the engine we bought looked great in pics, but were bent to hell up close.

SRT6 are forged I believe.

NA's are forged too, just engineered differently for the high compression.

That blows, I'd be pieved

If anyone wants them, their all yours, I was just curious if there was any difference between the SC and NA rods. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the AMG engine had all forged internals (rods, pistons, crank, etc).

I have several books on the Vipers, and find them to be very interesting. Has anyone done a book on the Crossfire ?
