Default need advice with dealership/tranny issue

ok, my crossfire went into limp mode ( stuck in 2nd gear and will not shift) two weeks ago and i took it to a friend's shop that scanned and said my speed sensor gave out (didnt specify which one)....so i took it to the dealership where they diagnosed it and foud that my transmission cooler lines were bent, they said the tranny fluid was not sufficiently being passed....i'm not very familiar with mechanical operations, therefore i need ur advice...can tranny fluid cause the car's transmission to be stuck in 2nd, or is it the speed sensor...or do i really need both....my warranty expired....

My question is how did the cooling lines get bent? I think either one of the problems would cause it to go into limp mode to protect the tranny from damage.

thanks for replying, the tranny lines got bent due to poor drifting skills and an unavoidable mailbox 6 months ago, i just noticed they got bent a couple days ago after it was raised up....are the tranny lines universal or do i have to get them from chrysler.which one of those between the sensor and the lines should be a priority..i dont mean to sound poor, but im only a college student in love in his crossfire, so im on a budget...lol

My car is in limp mode as well. I think it is the speed sensor. How much does it cost?

well..it actually didnt cost me a thing...and i as well thought it was the speed sensor...i took it to the dealer and they told me it was the transmission cooler line/hose and speed sensor, so i just asked the to recalibrate the transmission computer which is just fancy for deleting the code that was faulty....i left the car there for 4 days, and when i got it back..the limp home mode was gone...it was a miracle..they wanted to charge me almost 1000 bucks for parts and labor......
250 for sensors( because they are assembled unto valve body)
283 for tranny cooler lines
almost 400 for labor

By the way only the dealer (as far as i know) has the ODB III scanner to adjust this problem....

so it could be a computer malfunction ( simple and easy fix) or a circuit or sensor that went wrong....

I hope this helps

You are the 2nd person to say that. When they call me today, I will ask them to do the same and try it for a few days. I will let you know what happens.

The dealer just called to talk with me. The car isn't doing anything anymore, so they have to wait until it does. Then he started to ask me about all the lights that were coming on. He was like, "We are going to have to charge you a diagnostics check for EACH of the lights that are on till we can find the problem." What the hell??!! I told him I wanted him to reset the code. He said he would call back when he runs the check. I guess if it is just the speed sensor that it will tell him that. This is killing me.
