Can someone figure this out...
Last time I wrote, the SRT 6 was experiencing unexpected “ no throttle” situations. I would be driving at whatever speed and suddenly the throttle would go dead. I would coast to a stop, restart and hopefully get to my destination in one piece. My dealership replaced the throttle control module and that problem seems to be gone. (As an aside they blamed my CAI for contaminating the throttle body – I said prove it and that was the last we spoke about that) Now I have another situation. In traffic the SRT sometimes refuses to go into idle. It keeps revving to about 1000 RPM. Does not kick down. This happens long after the engine is warmed up. I have also had the card suddenly lurch into 1st or 2nd gear when I’m doing about 50 MPH. I pull over to the shoulder, restart and drive on. The dealership is at a loss to explain this, finds no helpful codes on the computer. Seems like its up to me to guide them. Anyone have this experience or venture a guess where they should start looking?

The Sprint Booster amplifies the electric signal from the foot pedal to the ECU. Try removing it and see if there is any change - easy check.
My car did that and i found a broken clamp on the coupling going to the intake manifold,,, AND
sounds like you have a boost leak,,, in normal driving it works ok but not perfect then when you get on it it is like nothing is there and at idle it stays around 2000 rpm
i also found the intake manifold gasket was blown out, that part caused the idle and the coupling caused the non responce, jim

Hey Brian and Jim
Thanks for the quick response. Sorry, I forgot to mention I had already removed the SPRINT BOOSTER before this "idle" problem occurred. Jim, I will pass on your experiences to the mechanic.
