Is a NeedsWings intake for a non SRT crossfire worth the money? I have a 05 Roadster.. and I have been looking at different intakes.. I see some for about 150.. is the NeedsWings intake for 450 bucks really worth the money or is it all in the name brand? How much hp increase do you normally see and how much better does it sound?

The sound is much better, but not the reason to buy one. You can hear my car on the dyno with it here....

It took a half second off my 1/4 mile times, as well as many others here.

Personally, I also like the idea of being able to see my engine, not a giant hunk of plastic, but that's all personal preference.

I second that, I could see the difference in closing speed on top end when Apkano and I were running at the track. He had the Needswings CAI and I didn't.....But watch out, I should be getting mine at the end of the week.

Just trying to keep up with you......we should be pretty well evenly matched considering my best of 14.9 before the Needswings CAI
