Spark Plug Replacement HELL!
Normal car = 30mins
Crossfire = Bloody knuckles, bad back, argument with girlfriend, a pain in the ***.
So you wanna change your spark plugs? My advice is dont unless you want the above.
Actually my suggestion would be to let that 'I know everything about cars' dude down your local bar do it. Buy him a drink, throw him a 20 and then watch him self explode.
The 2 plugs at the back are a pain like you have never felt!!

I did not think it was that bad....realy.
You did remove the coil packs.
I did not use anything special for tools either 3/8" ratchet, deep socket and a couple of 3" extentions.
You do have to assemble the socket, ratchet.& extension in place on those last couple of plugs.

You've obviously never changed plugs on a "big-block" late sixties Mustang.
(or Sunbeam Tiger).

Oh my F'ing god.....the engineer who designed that engine against, or should I say IN, that firewall, needs to be taken out back and shot in the nuts with a double load of rock salt!
Will be replacing mine this winter (5 years, 38,000 miles on what are probably the original plugs); hope it is not too bad a job. Just picked up 12 NGK 6988 BKR7EIX-11 Iridium IX plugs for just under US$81, delivered, off eBay.

I just replaced mine. Got em from needswing and it took me a hour and a half. I used 3/8 torque wrench 3/8 drive ratchet 3 in extension and a universal and a spark plug socket. It wasnt that hard at all actually quite easy. I replaced em at 5 yrs 63,000 they looked ok, could of went longer on em but I just follow what is says in the book for insurance.....5 yrs or 100k miles

Fiero GT was to worse for me. Mid engine mounted sideways. The plugs on the side of the engine facing the cabin were hell to get to. Pontiac developed a special tool to get to those. I always let my mechanic do it for me. Getting the oil filter off was hell too.
