I will post sound clips in about 3 hours but we have everything finalized as far as system specs.

Our system will use 2.5" for the SRT and 2.25" for the Base/Limited. Both systems will be full T304 SS and include the following : Straight through resonators for reduced interior drone, H-pipe for pulse balancing, Magnaflow mufflers, and oval tips. The system will be sold as a 2 piece unit that will be V-banded together.

The system will replace from the rear cats to the back of the car and will include all hangars in stock locations for easy bolt up.

A typical exhaust shop can have your old system off and this new one on in about 3-4 hours, even less if they cut and weld on the car.

Retail will be 1199.00 shipped in the USA. We will be offering the first 5 systems for 999.00 shipped.

If you are local we will install for a flate rate of 200.00.

LMAO, I also thought it was a little on the high end for virtually no power gains

My magnoflow was under $200, and saving the other $1000, I can put up with a little drone in my sports car....

Unfortunatley there is a difference between a universal mild steel muffler and a fully SS dual pipe exhaust system that improves flow and doesn't sound like a cheap ebay system. Believe it or not a lot of people don't like drone in their cabin, it takes away from the enjoyment of the ride.

We realize that as the Crossfire continues to depreciate that more and more customers will look to the cheapest way possible to mod their car and the end result will be just that, cheap.

TVT, I am not trying to be an a$$ here, as I very much respect what you do for the XF and all the parts and knowledge you have brough to the forum, but please educate me a little here....

I have a SS magnaflow muffler, great sound and great look (large oval tips) I think this is an 'inexpensive' way to get great sound and better flow, but I do not think it is some chi-com ebay POS. As far as drone, I drive a 6 speed so that is overcome very easily with a simple gear change. I would like know exactly what one would hope to gain in doing this TVT system at over 5 times the cost???

Convince me well enough, and I might be one of the first NA customers you sign up

Thanks in advance, and again, no disrespect, just looking for info....

Realistically there is such a small gain with an exhaust swap on both the N/A and SRT models that looking for gains should not be the main selling point. Look at the Borla or Magnaflow cat back, they claim 4 HP and the Magnaflow is about 400.00 the Borla about 800.00.

You will see a 8-10 HP increase on a bone stock NA. Not huge numbers, but the exhaust is made to allow for growth and a true dual design.

A dual exhaust sounds much different then a single. The dual system will flow double of what the stock one does (dual 2.25" pipes).

If we eliminated the resonators, went with no name mufflers, mild steel, and no V-bands this could be an easy 550.00 exhaust. At that point though you are putting subpar products on a beautiful above par vehicle. The parts alone for our system run about 600.00, SS ain't cheap!

Thank you for the info, I really do appreciate it, and I am sure I am not the only one.

8-10 HP for this system on an NA is an amazing gain, great job.

As I said, I was never intending to be disrespectful, more of a devil's advocate. I can not wait to see/hear this system on someone's XF in person. But I will say (I am sure anyone behind me at the Dragon will agree ) the magnoflow sounds great....

tvt hasn't done this yet...nor have they posted their promised tvt300 power numbers. i've noticed that while their intentions may be good, sometimes they are a bit distracted and don't follow up in a timely manner.

Something to ponder.

Are the images of the finished product or just the mock up? My appollogies for stepping on toes but for the price I would think a bit more effort would produce a much cleaner exhaust, unless of course you were just generating the mock up from the bits you had laying around.

Most likely I will end up building my own exhaust as I tend to be picky with build quality and would't be happy with all the extraneous splices and angled connections.

I am no expert but my I did have success making a custom turbo back 3" exhaust for my other ride. There are a few companies out there that will custom bend all the bits you need (not crush bent either) if you provide them measurements and its very reasonable price wise. The entire exhaust (non crossfire) turbo back was around $300. Obviously this setup would be a bit more if the dual pipe setup was used.
Below is the previous downpipe i created flange and all for under $75.00 flange included.

The price is high due to the materials we used. The mufflers and tips cost 280.00 and the resonators are another 200.00. If you don't want or need V-bands then the cost is only 889.00 shipped.

We can do bette ron pricing for local customers as the cost to ship and CC fees obviously is accounted for in the price.

A local cash customer without V-bands can get the system for under 800.00.

So....are the pictures of a completed exhaust for purchase or just the mock up?

The exhausts are built on a per-order basis. Differening options will warrant different pricing.

Here is a shot of a rear-cat delete, dual resonators, H-pipe, add your own muffler set-up.

Keep in mind this is a Jig and the welds are terrible.

We've noticed that not everyone wants the same things in their exhaust so basically we will build a dual exhaust the way you want it with what ever materials you want. We can do this because we have a Crossfire just collecting dust to test on.

We can do a set of dual 2.5" piping with H-pipe and hangars that replaces rear cats and allows you to add your own mufflers or a full dual SS system with resonators, Hangars, H-pipe, mufflers, and tips. Your call.

this looks great and is what I've been looking for. As far as muffler choices go I have looked at cherrybomb Vortex #88115 or the Elite #7553 there is also Thrush #17637 and #17553 Dynomax ultra-flo x muffler,
hopefully one of these might fit. I have found the Thrush for $30 online. These type mufflers could also negate the need for a cross over pipe depending on the internal design of the muffler. The H pipe would increase rigidity and stability of the system though. Maybe, bar stock could be used to reduce expense. Would it be possible to set-up a picture comparing a stock system versus your new system? In another question, I saw in another thread you mentioned a 3.8L engine, can you elaborate? Keep up the great work.
