Default Lucas Upper Cylinder Lube / Fuel Treatment

Has anyone here used this product ??
If so what do you think about it ??
It was recommended by a good friend who has been using it for nearly a year now in every tank of gas.
Recently he had his Toyota Tundra in the shop and they said the fuel rail and injectors looked virtually new with 30,000 miles on the truck.

Or you could just buy a quality fuel rather than cheap supermarket fuel. Here in the UK there is premium gas, Shell V-Power and BP Ultimate, which have properties and additives included in the gas which aid a cleaner burn and prevent gunking up in fuel rails and injectors. Oh, and its 99 RON for the Shell.

Lucas Fuel Treatment
I never add anything to my gas, oil or radiator except gas saver when I store the car for the winter and frankly I'm not sure that does anything. Good premium gas, oil and engine coolant does it for me. I think companies will sell you anything to make a buck.
I have yet to read a legitimate report where any of these additives did anything except to lighten your wallet, mind you that might lead to gas savings as less weight equals more mpg.

NOTE: I only use Amoco Premium (93 octane) in my car unless I'm on on a road trip and can't find an Amoco

I used Marvel Mineral Oil in the 70's but I don't think it did anything except empty my wallet. I tend to think of using additives in cars that are on the verge of dying and I want to eek out a few more miles. Not to say it's bad stuff or will hurt anything. I just think it's unnecessary. But hey, a paper oil filter is good enough unless you extend the oil changes. And many won't run their Crossfires with a paper filter. Use the Lucas and let us know in 5 more years.

If you want to use it to save gas, you might as well buy some more gas with the money you would have spent on the Lucas fuel treatment. Its benefits are hard to establish, lots of talk but no hard proof to be found.
It's easy to say you have a wonder product, snake oil salesmen do it all the time.
I was born a cynic, my son is the same so it must be in the genes.
