Default exhaust falling

I have an 2004 crossfire and the exhaust at the muffler is loose. those rubber circle that hold the exhaust are cracked and the muffler is no longer thru them. is there a fix for this. just buy a new mount?

You should be able to purchase them from any muffler shop. All you need are the rubber bands. If you have no luck, try calling MB with the following part number:

great thank you for the reply. I just found out because another driver noticed and told me. what I thought was rattling and shaking from the hatch must have been the exhaust hitting the sides.

If you are going to do the job yourself, these would work and make it easier to install.

I have a pair of those rubber hangers. If you are semi-near by I would just meet up with you and give them to you!. I am in Welland, Ontario, Canada. I will drive over the boarder if you are not too too far

Yea you wont find that hanger at a generic auto parts store... trust me, I've been having the same problem you have now. Is a mercedes only deal and they aren't cheap (at least, as far as a rubber hanger goes)

If your going to replace the donuts yourself, I found an exhaust donut stretcher like this one works really well. I used it when I installed my Magnaflow and it makes a tough job easy!
