Default Fuel Question

If I purchased either a walbro or similar fuel pump for the SRT-6, would it deliver more fuel to my injectors when at WOT then the standard fuel pump? Or would I need a tune or something to get the walbro fuel pump to work at it's maximum capacity.

it will deliver more consistant pressure then the oem pump but is still limited by the factory filter/regulator. in order to increase pressure you woul dneed a different adjustable regulator and new filter without the regulator built into it. check the fuel page on our website to see what im reffering to.

You would need a tune.

On TVT's website he sells the SL55 fuel pump and states no tune needed, I don't want to start playing the the fuel regulator itl get tricky and expensive. On my runs down the q/mile the other day at the top of 3rd gear it delayed changed I dont know why but I'm assuming lack of fuel. My plan was to get the walbro pump from Needswings and the injectors from TVT an hopefully that will fix my problem.

I have the 185mm on mine, and there have been known issues. Before I head back to the track I fully intend on getting the fix that bowlman and Rob (NeedsWings)...and I think Waldig came up with to correct the fueling...

I know if you contact bowlman169 he is ecstatic about the fuel fix, and even found a nice place hiding in the front quarter panel a place to put it where it is hidden.

...of course that would definitely be a good pairing with the Walbro, as I'm not sure if the kit comes with a Walbro.
