Currently, there is not any emission testing in Florida.

I have already done my first state inspection with the V8 and had no problem. They hooked up to the OBDII port and it read 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, 5.0 8cyl. and then it ran the normal test and all passed.

After they put the cars through various tests (road course, 0 to 100 to 0 and 0 to 60), the CTS V won out overall. Since the SRT 6 is lighter than the CTS V there might be an edge, but it will not be easy.

Crossfire(with added 100lbs for s/c v8) is 1,200lbs lighter than a SL55 AMG and 900lbs lighter than the CTS V..............he will have no problem putting either car in their place*.

*as long as the M-B and/or CTS V is stock

Rudy has posted what it will cost roughly in a different thread... If every car was new and the best senario possiable then I am sure he could put a final price on it. But each car is not like that.

Congrats Jim, you old dog....it's getting harder to keep up with the modding going on....but, I have to agree....there does need to be an all new "V-8" section added to the forum....because the numbers keep growing...and you all give a new meaning to the word, "modding"....lol

Thank you
Pricing for the conversion on the 55Kompressor swap is roughly $25k depending on how crazy you want to get with the performance mods. While we don't offer financing, we do break up the payments on it while we are building the car. There is an initial deposit of 50% before we procure the engine, 25% upon receiving the vehicle with the remaining 25% due at time of delivery so it does give the the ability to break it up a bit over a few months if that helps. Feel free to call me at 952-681-1000 with any other questions.
