Default how to adjust exhaust tip

Hi,

How do you adjust the exhaust tip? Looks like the tips are a bit lower than usual. and the right one a bit more than the left. Okay, lets hear some jokes and ppl referring to the male genitals. "one is always lower than the other"
I look at the back and it seem to be to rubber hinges holding the tips on each side.
In the middle there was some shock padding and a hole. is it supposed to be a screw there?

Tips are not adjustable, if out of line as you describe then system is out of line and a fix is easy. Ignore the rear rubbers, they are just mounts. Get under car, loosen the 3 nuts/bolts that hold the front and rear sections together. Give the clamp a good tap with a hammer to get it slackened. go to back and rotate rear half of system to line it up, getting the wife to hold it in position as you nip it up again, job done. You may find the clamp has come loose anyway.

Thanks Steve! Not really sure what bolts you mean but I guess being under the car it will be much clearer. Will raise the car at the garage later and will let you know how I progress.

Seen Bodymans XF yet?

Yes the Bodymans car looks brilliant - The Saint rides again!

By the way, there is also an exhaust hangar under the near side which may need slackening off while you reposition the rear half of the system but worth trying first without messing about with this! Good luck!
