Default Rubber Gasket - Airbox to Air Inlet on NA

The rubber gasket that sits at the back of the air box & seals against the air inlet to the motor was damaged on my 07 XFire when I bought it. Apparently someone servicing the air filters didn't re-align it properly and it became torn in a couple of places. Some Black RTV fixed it right up, but I wanted another one for down the road (just in case). Had lots a trouble locating this gasket and then Mike Lewis at OE Discount Parts (Skyland Automotive in Asheville, NC) came up with the M-B P/N (1120940180). List price is $5.50. (Note: According to Mike, Chrysler doesn't show this part even available.)

If you're not using this guys (OEDiscountParts.com) for some of your part purchases, you really ought to consider them. They have helped me out on several occasions.

I had the same problem trying to find the gasket that fits between the TB and SC on the SRT a couple of years ago.....

I was sure I would find good information on here.
I found some damage to my air box gasket and of course
it can only be purchased from Chrysler if you purchase the entire air box cover at a nominal cost of $749.

I did find it without too much trouble at M/B, however, I was not fortunate to find it any where close to the $5.50 mentioned; $12.71 was the best I could do. But it beats repairing the old one or not having one at all!

Glad you were able to find this rubber seal locally from a M-B dealer.
