Srt-6 shreading belt

Default Srt-6 shreading belt

I have the eurocharge 185 pulley and tune but ive replace the belt twice and they keep getting chewed up and shreaded what could be causing this 70$ belts add up

The boss on the back of the pulley is too long in many cases and the grooves are not lined up with the others.
There are other posts on this issue.

I had to turn 3mm off the back of the hub on my 181 pulley to get the alignment right.

THis problem has hit many, you can not trust the pulley - sadly. Check the alignment with your eye and or a steel rule / straight edge to comfirm the pulley groove alignment. Woody

Sight along the belt line and use a flashlight to watch the shadow line , may work for you too.
