needswings vs. eurocharged heat exchanger
Ill be getting a pulley and tune from eurocharged next month and am trying to find out if there is any difference inbetween the Needswings Supercooler and the eurocharged heat exchanger. I was told this from eurocharged "Our custom-built HE's use furnace brazed cores (no epoxy) resulting in better heat dissipation and are heliarc welded with CNC precision machined billet aluminum necks.
They have a 1.8 liter fluid capacity and 4000 square inches of fin area"
Needswings is
At approximately 4 times the volume of the factory heat exchanger, this Supercooler will greatly improve the efficiency of the factory unit. Conceived by Waldig designs.
Includes:
Supercooler
Hoses/Clamps
Drain
Power Steering Cooling replacement line kit
Mounting Hardware
Just trying to see if there are basically the same product just a different model. Both are approx the same price as well. Looking for some input as to which is better/more efficent if they are not the same.

Waldig one seem to be much larger. I would go for the DCAI and supercooler from needswings and the tune and S/C pulley from Eurocharged. Soon they will release ther s/c pulley when it's been tested orderly. Saving up for it
DCAI is on the way, IC replacement pump just ordered. brakejob next week or two. Hoping to get the eurocharged pulley and tune next month. just trying to see about the cooling as i would like to get the heat exchanger dont before or very close to the pulley install

My humble opinion, of course...

I placed my order on july 11, 2011 for my DCAI (paid in full) and since have heard no response from Rob @ Needswings. E-mailed twice, and sent a PM as well, still no response.
Did you get a tracking number and all of that?
Thanks,
Eric

P.S. I did get it from someone on the forum before my knowledge of it so I gather it could be true.
D.S. sorry for bad english but I am knackered after playing golf in the sun 100'F today plus awful humidity.
Say hi to the underbite

jake spoke of the new pulley on the mercedes forum in a thread fubu started. as with all the products they produce e/c wont release it until its tested to failure so they know the limits. its built but not released.
any competent machine shop can machine the oem down to close to c3 specs for under 100$ if you cant wait
