Acceleration Problem
Acceleration Problem
Hey everyone. I have a 2005 crossfire srt6 and there has been some acceleration issues. After about 10 to 15 min of driving the acceleration of the car decreases almost like the supercharger disengages. The only problem I can think of is the intercooler has gone bad and the supercharger is over heating and turns of if that is even possible. If anyone has Ideas or had the same problem love to hear any suggestions.

Very typical response to IC pump failure.
Re: Acceleration Problem
SRT6Bullet..Yes,You figured out your cars problem. Happens to all of us sooner or later. It's a easy pump to replace. While your loosing antifreeze changing out the pump,It would be a good time to install Rob's at NeedsWings isolation mod to seperate the engines coolant from the superchargers coolant. The lower temps will make your supercharger happy. Squirrel Crusher
