rear bearing noise.
2004 XF 6-speed Rear end bearing noise increases with pitch and volume as car speed increases. Not tire noise(unless loudest tires known to mankind)Not affected by choice of gear. Not affected by leading or trailing throttle. More weight on right side of car does seem to increase volume of noise. Is there a way to determine if this noise is created by a CV joint, hub/wheel bearing, or something else. There are no dealers/ repair shops that do MB/Mopar where I live-and by the way-where is a inexpensive shop manual available?
