Maxbore replaces the butterfly plate in their process......

Well sent Maxbore an Email and they say they don't do our intakes anymore, says they are to time consuming. Anybody know if someone else does them.

PS. if any member would be willing to do it I be willing to pay the $120 I was going to pay Maxbore

My understanding is that the NA intake diameter is already 74mm and opening up a 74mm TB to a larger size would make the bore larger than the intake hole. This would hinder the smooth flow of air.

The TB's that are opened up on the NA are the 68mm bores and these are opened up to 74mm.

If you have a 74mm TB it fits fine the way it is. The larger bore sizes you see mentioned are on the SRT6.
