Default Vacuum Leak ?

I installed the boost port on the y pipe yesterday and ran the tubing to the gauges , also looked the TB over real good it was suprisingly clean , when I checked the catch can it had about a 1/2 cup of oil in it ,(after 6 mo of running) so its doing its job great , I finished putting everything back together and took the car for a test drive , noticed right off the S/C sounded different , little louder , and when I went WOT , the boost cage went to between 19 & 20 psi and the car was screaming , much more power , the temps out side where 48 degrees and the IAT was running around 78 dg , so I get on the interstate and running around 60mph and stomp the pedal , the car felt awesome ,the boost guage hit 17 and went to 19 very quickly , the car is running better now than it ever has . I'M wondering if maybe I fixed a Boost leak that I didnt know I had , seem like with the difference in power ,I would have heard a vacuum leak or something ... , Anyway the car is screaming now,,,,Happy Camper
