I saw this Roadster on ebay in TX.

What is a typical Renntech mod and what are the gains? JC. Thanks, James

I know Steve Hellums had a Renntech tune on his... and he loved it.
AFAIK it was a can-tune and not dyno-specific.
While Renntech may not list support for the 3.2 on their site anymore, it was certainly supported at one time. Pulley, tune were the only things that I was aware of.
There was also a Renntech carbon airbox but it was for the N/A 320

I met the owner of renntech last Wednesday at the track, he wants me to bring my car by his shop so that he can show all his mechanics.he was very impressed,,He hung around my car for a long time, and every time I ran( only got in three runs )he would come over and congratulate me,, he seemed to be impressed. we'll see, i am going by his shop next week it is 1/2hour north of me.

That's very interesting, Jim. I hope the visit goes well and maybe you'll spark his interest even more. Hopefully you'll post the outcome and take some photos with him and the techs.
I remember in the early Crossfire years Renntech advertised their highest-end mod package for the NA 3.2L which took it to something like 406 or 410HP. I believe that in addition to internal engine modifications and the incorporation of a supercharger, the package included upgrades to the suspension and brakes as well. Total cost was right around $20K which was around the resale value of a NA Crossfire as soon as it was driven off a dealer's lot. I doubt very many of those packages were purchased, and the availability of the SRT-6 in the resale market made the upgrade even less practical from a financial standpoint.
Two local Renntech dealers here in San Diego have (1) performance upgrade listed for the NA 3.2L motor. It is an ECU Tune for $995.00 it states 10hp gain and 10 tq gain. Makes Eurocharged look like a real deal.
I had work done at the Renntch Miami location they are expensive but you get what you pay for. Very very happy with end result. Renntech holds many records and guarantee they can out tune/customize most shops if not all.
thanks for posting. the stage 6, 404hp, for $22K+ was what I was referring to.

I am always up for new ideas but if they look for my obd2 port, they won't find it.
