Shopping for a SRT6 supercharger pulley
I just finished replacing the idler pulley on my SRT6 and while that pulley was definitely going bad, I'm still getting a grinding / churning noise up front. Using the big screwdriver stethoscope method, it's telling me that the supercharger pulley is noisey. Everything is currently stock size wise so I guess rather than installing another stock pulley, I might as well look into upgrading to a smaller supercharger pulley (and changing out some of the other pulleys as well?).
I've read the many forum posting about smaller supercharger pulleys but some of those postings are old and I think some of those smaller supercharger pulleys are either no longer available or have been proven to have issues. What is the current wisdom on chosing a smaller supercharger pulley (what brand and size)?
If I get the recommended smaller supercharger pulley, I'm confused about what other pulleys I might need to change out? I had already planned to get a pulley saver kit from Rob at Needswings. Is that all I need is to put on the smaller S/C pulley and then get the appropriate pulley saver kit from Needswings OR do I first need to be changing the crank pulley size? If so, what size crank pulley should I get? I can wrench these pulleys on and off but all the different mm size talk only confuses me. I guess I'm asking for the forum experts to tell me . . . Get this, this and that and then order pulley saver kit number xxxxx.
Thanking all in advance for sharing their expertise . . .

Get the EC SC pulley (batch 2) and a PSK for the sc pulley from Rob NW.
No need to change the crank pulley.
No need to change the crank pulley.
That's a good idea and I will try to do that. Living in a resort area I don't have the luxury of bearing stores and machine shops all around me but I will try to find a bearing. Maybe Graingers? If I can find the bearing will I have to then find a machine shop to have the old bearing removed and the new bearing pressed in? Does anyone know the specifics of the bearing I'm looking for that I'll need to buy?
I am sure you will get an answer, if not, I can measure mine in the morning... I have 2 stock ones in the toolbox... Not for sale though....may need to change back someday...
