What is the best exhaust to get for a Crossfire?
what is the best kind of exhaust to get for a 2008 crossfire limited coupe? I was thinking about getting a Megan, Magnaflow, Cherry Bomb, or Borla exhaust. What would you recomend?
Where are you getting these HP numbers? Folks have been verifying less than 1 to 1.5 HP for the exhaust for many years. Do a search and read some of the results!
thanks! haha judging by videos im probably going to go with a Megan mrs, any other suggestions to make my crossfire better?
It's all up to person taste as to what is "better".
For a start, read this: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ome-sound.html

Its illegal to remove the cats in texas so im going to just get a nice exhaust instead! how much should a megan exhaust cost with installation?
@graphiteghost , I was concerned about the figures and did some research on it awhile ago and emailed a few suppliers encluding rob from needs wings and he told me those figure from 5-10 hp with the mangaflow and have read other things I know there is little if any to gain with our cars , reason why I looked into it is because I got a after market muffler on my and it seemed to feel like I lost low end torque in first and second gear but as you said most likly even some little as 1 hp guess its a marketing thing to st least advertise that amount , I haven't found any dynos stock but exsaust yet... Do you have any links?

Well, you may want to define "better". Better as in performance? Handling? Sound?
I'm an OBX fan : ( Chinese Borla knockoff )
lowest price ( $300 - $340 - search the web )
excellent quality ( mine's been on a year and still looks new )
great sound
DIY easy installation

I have to drop two cents too
. I love my pipes from Rob with NeedsWings, and I of course had to have the electric cut outs as well, so I can be obnoxious when I go to the track. but with the cut outs closed, she has a meatier sound without being loud, and doesnt drone or drive me crazy, still polite to drive
I'm having a local exhaust shop build mine and I will be running a Megan Racing M-RS muffler. I really like the look of the muffler and it usually saves you a few bills going the custom route if you're willing to have your car be in the shop for a day or two.
