X-Pipe Size
I'm looking at replacing the rear cats and h-pipe with a X-pipe. Anyone have any idea what size the x-pipe should be? Leaning toward the Magnaflow one.
Thanks to everyone and enjoy the New Year.

n/a should be 2.25" srt i believe is 2.5"
And just a side note bought mine a week ago and my shop said he cant do it because hes not allowed to take out cats. But i cut them out and he helped me out
And btw i got one for 30$ on ebay, no need to spend 100$ on the same piece of stamped metal.

Another side note, I removed the rear cats when my car was a high mileage NA and it still passed the emission testing here in Ontario
Even with the V8 it still passes with one set of cats installed

I didn't do an X Pipe, but I did a custom catback exhaust setup. The concept is essentially the same though. They took out the 2.25 inch pipe, replaced it with a 2.5 inch pipe for more flow. Then I chose a flowmaster super 44 muffler for the sound, and c4 corvette exhaust tips for looks. A place in the town over from me did the job. With labor and all the parts I told you about the total cost came out to be $250. Probably the best mod I have ever done to a car. Here is my video of how it sounded the day after I got it done
Here is the 2½" magnaflow X installed where the rear cats on a limited use to be.
Well, mine is going onto the SRT6. Is the X pipe the same size as the one for the N/A? I know many people have done it. I've deleted the muffler and want a little more flow and "Throat" without the drone so the resonator will stay for now. No inspections in FL so WEEE!

Someone has posted what the car sounds like with the rear cats removed but kept the factory muffler. Sounded pretty good if I remember correctly. Just have to find it in an old thread...
Probably could be a clamp on mod but I would not recommend it. If you were local to me I would do all the work needed for duals all the way back in exchange for the 2 removed used cats.
