LMAO. And? I am sure he is removing them to have them done Max. I just don't open my hood anymore. In fact I'm thinking old school and putting on some locking hood pins.

I hear ya Doc. My car is far from a show piece and the turbo makes enough noise as it is. My hood does not open outside of a garage unless something is wrong or adding washer solvent

I say red manifolds and intakes.
I have a set of cores. I bought some of a forum member so I could do mine red then switch them out with no down time.
The ones I have are off my car with 24k on them and are good.
I paid $400 for the cores if you want mine let me know. Then you can resell yours.

Yes, I will be taking the covers off lol. My car is gonna be in the shop for a few weeks, so I figured I would just get this done. Gonna cost me $150 to do all the work.

Stray thanks man I appreciate the help.

Honestly my engine is the biggest eye sore of the car. Its so dirty underneath its a challenge to get it to pristine condition. Ill post before and after pics when I'm done.

Red engine parts with an aero blue car? Unless you're going for a U S of A theme, I would go with a different color...

Gunmetal would look great with aero blue... or black accents would help hide dirt... if you want something that stands out like red, yellows could be something interesting.. navy blues, dark purple... there are a lot of options that would be very unique and eye catching.. don't get me wrong, red is popular for a reason but I just think it would clash with the blue if you're standing back looking at the whole package with the hood open... in fact, if you can color match everything to the aero blue it would flow very nicely together

I have a black NA which would look great with red, but its just done so often that I want to go with something different (gunmetal is the top choice). I love the aero blue and I think you can really make it pop

+1 on the gunmetal, any solid color would be too much IMO.

I went with a gloss red with black lettering ill have pics up. My calipers are red too so i think it will go nicely. If not I can always go back and repowdercoat the intake tubes. Pics to come.
