Default X-Pipe I.D.

Looking to replace the secondary cats with an X-pipe. Does anyone know the inside diameter of the pipes after the cats have been removed? Found these at a great price and was wondering which one would work on the SRT6?

Stamped X Pipe

I was thinking that myself, but I was also under the assumption that the SRT pipes were larger. Was hoping someone who has done the mod would chime in with the exact p/n or size that they used!

Nope, NO SRT exhaust on my car. It is bad enough I have srt springs in it

I put a magnaflow X on my car. I used 2½" which is larger than what comes on the NA. Pics in my gallery!
Any shop that makes a custom exhaust will have no problem fitting

To answer your question, our SRT6 pipes coming back to meet the rear cats are approx. 2-1/4" I.D., and 2-3/8" O.D.(+/-). What you also need to know, is that the O.C.(on center dimension) is 5" at the front of the rear cats(OEM), and 3-3/8" at the rear, where they meet the H-pipe.
