New black wrinkle paint valve covers
Seeing this thread reminded me about mine... I've already got them painted (silver) just need to order the darn gaskets.
I'll try to get that knocked out this week

Thanks, but all the credit goes to maxcichon, he did the glass bead blasting and painting, all I did was bolt 'em on ........
They don't. Just ran over to Wedowee to get some non ethanol premium, about 20 miles each way, no leaks.
HOWEVER ! That paint sure do stink till it gets over it's out gassing .....

That looks good to me.
Maybe you can help please.
Was this VHT?
If so did Max put them in the oven at 200°F, or were they cured on the car?
I have a set to do some time, I may do the plenums as well but I'm not sure of the color scheme yet.
see ad from Advance Auto below.
Max waited until his wife was out of the house and baked them in the oven.
Be prepared for some pretty strong odor until they have completely cured.
Nope, gonna leave it wheel paint silver.
Do you recognize those valve covers ? You probably don't, since they look nothing like they did when you sent them to me. ( Not trashing you Josh, I know they came off that old salvage engine )

Lmao they definitely turned out better than they looked before, that's for damn sure. It looks nice with the manifold silver too. But hey, if you were trashing me, in a way it'd your fault in the first place! I seem to recall someone directing me towards that adventure
Takes a LONG time to dry-no touching.
Put old screws in the threaded holes. Chase threads when finished. (Don't ask).
