plug wires
Anyone heard of or installed this plug wire set - they are available in 8.5 and 10 mm and in black red or blue.

No, but for $30 less, you can get a set of Magnecore wires AND a new set of plugs from NeedsWings :
NeedsWings Ignition Kit Crossfire
( but then I see you already know this, as you list both in your sig )

This set however comes with the OEM style plug ends, but you are right there is a big difference in price. The 8.5mm set that they sell is $50.00 cheaper.
Yes, I do have this kit installed. I'm not all that keen on the plug ends of the Magnacor wires -during install if you were not spot on and pushed to click onto the plug the wire would push back into the boot forcing you to go into the boot with long nose pliers to pull it back down to grab the top of the plug.

When I installed the Magnecor's originally, I 'thought' I had them on tight, and had no issues.
However, a couple of months ago, I installed my black crinkle painted valve covers, and while I had the covers off, I checked them again.
EVERY ONE of them needed seating. ( it's easy to do when you have the valve covers off. )
I'd even recommend removing the covers to do any plug / wire change, it's so much easier and you can be sure it's done correctly as you finally have good access.
