exhaust replacement
hi guys n girls need advice have found great guys down here in Plymouth called 100 percent stainless they have agreed to modify my rear end or complete exhaust in s/steel whats the best way to modify for the growl sound? do I just remove rear muffler put strait pipes and replace original rear end> please give advice on lengths of pipe/ diagrams /sizes/ lengths etc you guys are the experts so come on get those xfire brains goin All the best to all members

I would keep the diameter the same, x-pipe where the current 2 meets to 1 and run dual back after the X. I would keep a muffler but delete the rear cat's if you don't have to worry about smog inspection.

Delete rear cats.
Then do something like this thread mentions, but smoother where the current exhaust goes from 2 into 1 already, so that you're then running true dual back along the same path as the stock 1 is. I would also try and smooth it out as much as possible. Get rid of the kinks and bends and such.
