Hey Guys,

i was just wondering if there is anyone in the Richmond Area that has experience on changing a alternator on the normal coupe, my alternator died this weekend and i was going to mechanic to get the new one put on but 300 dollars for a some what 30 min job for a pro- i dnt think thats a whole lot but im a college student soooo , but if someone in the area knows how to do it and willing to help me put it on i will compensate and willing to talk out a deal?

( same applies to the non-SRT6 ( NA ) except for how to remove the tension on the tension idler pulley )

Remove the old one first to make sure the replacement you get is the same, there are 2 different manufacturers for this part.

 

I do appreciate this information, but i am still would prefer if someone is or able to actually able to help for 2 reasons, one im away at college and dont have any tools here and second is im not very good with this kind of stuff and rather then make it worse guidance or help would be better lol
