ANd I wouldnt be in as much negative equity. Maybe only 2k as oppose to 8k. Craftsmanship again is a wash although some aspects of the acura were nicer than the XF. Really all i like better about the XF is the looks and rwd handling aspects. Oh and the insurance is cheaper on XF. My RSX was higher than my mach 1. 2 bux more a month lol. And the payment was cheaper on the acura. Thats about it.
Well, I can't really debate any of those reasons mentioned Well, except the warranty thing - are you sure you don't have a 7 year, 75k warranty on the xfire? I do, and that's the factory warranty, not an extended warranty. But I know that warranty was offered during a promotional period, so maybe it wasn't offered in your area or at your time? Thankfully the winters in Arizona don't require me to worry about handling in the snow. so I never have to worry about those aspects. I am in total agreement about the gas mileage (my Jetta 1.8 turbo had an upgraded turbocharger on it, and it still got about 30mpg) and with the aftermarket (I can't believe there isn't a bigger SLK aftermarket considering how long it's been around).

Bullseye - You must be driving pretty hard to only average 15.4 mpg in your crossfire. I think I drive the car pretty hard and I have never dropped below 20 mpg. On longer road trips I've been around 28 - 29 mpg.

By the way, have you taken the Crossfire out in our recent snowfall? I can't get out of my parking garage.

I was referring to bumper to bumper. Its all that matters, the longest I kept a car anyways was a bit over a year.

Yeah, my mpg is way better than 15 even in the city. On a highway trip I got over 30 but that was all highway. I like jack rabbit starts too. I have the 6 spd.

Well to get anypower out of the thing, I have to rev it up to 3-4k each time for the 1-2 2-3 and then a 2700rpm 4th shift on avg. Drove similar with my mach 1 and retained about 19-20mpg. With my blizzak setup i have no problem with the snow. Ground clearance is the only thing that holds me back. Tried to go through over a foot high snow drift and got stuck. Other than that no problems. I have 17's all the way around, mount with 225/45/17's Blizzak studless ice/snow tires.
