Default egr flow code

Check engine light came on checked the code, indicated the EGR , so I did a search here and gave it a try myself, started with the easiest way out first, took off the vacuum tubes, checked for cracks or holes, then sprayed some parts cleaner through on and it was fairly clean,2nd tubes was full of carbon, so put back on and took a drive into town, so far no light, if it comes back I will take whole valve off and clean, I am so lazy!

Well Lazy or not remains to be seen. I have found that Hoses once off, tend to not stay on with reapplication, so cleaned out or not you might be redoing the job.

I have over 80,000 on My black betty, so I just bought the EGR and replaced all hoses to be sure.
