Default Exhaust Leak Need Help

Purchased a XF about a month ago and CEL came on about 2 weeks after driving it around. Took it to the stealership to replace the top (05 model) and they said both left and rear cats have leaks and need replacement (93k miles) cost alone was 3100, then said both 02 sensors were out and would cost another 1k. She said the pre and post sensors were out but I thought the XF had left and right sensors for each so 4 sensors but they assured me it was just 2.

So all in they want 4900 to replace the cats and 2 02 sensors. Does anyone know what the realistic cost of this is? I asked if they could just weld the leak and she said it was not possible. I want the job done right but definitely don't want to be ripped off. Also located in Dallas if anyone knows of a good shop. Not trying to break the bank and thanks for all the help, this forum has been a blessing to me.

Others have had the cats welded up. There are 2 + 2 sensors to my knowledge.
What are the codes that were read?

Drop the stealership and back...slowly...away.

Now-RUN!

RockAuto Parts Catalog has them for $200 and $300 each.

O2 sensors too! Find a decent exhaust shop to install.

They didn't tell me the codes but I took it to autozone last week and I believe it was just the 2098 code nothing else. Also out of curiosity, how much is a set of 4 tpms sensors? I figured welding would do the trick but they said you can't weld due to regulations LOL!
