Question, if one was to delete rear cats on a N/A Xfire Coupe Ltd., and replace with the referenced SS X-Pipe,...

X-Pipes - Mandrel Bending Solutions

...would you still use the 2.25" diameter, and does the standard stock exhaust pipe fit Inside the X-Pipe diameter (inserting into the X-Pipe) or Outside (sliding over the outside of the X-Pipe)? And which clamps are recommended?

Thanks guys!

My SLK32 AMG will have a magnaflow TRU internal X-pioe replace the rear cats to help balance the odd V6 exhaust pulses with a "Y" connecting the dual exit magnaflow, no resonator with a 3" pipe leading to a borla pro XS muffler, Borla's do not drone nor do the hookers. Good luck
