Air filter cover
Hi all, I'm new here. I am thinking about buying a 2005 roadster.
If the Crossfire shares the same parts as the SLK320, can the air filter cover from the MB be used to replace the Chrysler cover? Just thinking of giving the WOW factor to people when I pop open the hood and they really see that it has a Mercedes engine.
Thanks

Yes the filter housing is the same and will fit. Your photo shows it with a V8 engine cover. It is a two piece item. Be sure to get a V6 engine cover(front area). The V8 cover has an extra set of diamonds due to the engine being longer and giving it 8 diamonds.

I thought so but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the heads up on the 6 and 8 versions.
The SLK cover will fit perfect but with no benefit other than looks. If you find a C320 filter housing, it gives you bigger filters fitted for better air flow. You can do a search here to find the best part numbers to use.
