Default oil filter

I see a lot of chatter on oil filters when I am getting ready to change my oil I bought a Mobil 1 oil filter now I see that Mann is the preferred one. Which is better the Mann or Mobil? If Mann who carries them I can't find one in Las Vegas....................Yet!

Only 17.29 at wally world.. looked it over.. I'll stick with Mann's from ebay at 9 bucks.. Frams don't have the plastic structure the Manns do.

I agree with Mrmiata...the Mann looks very good and structurally sound even after use... and the price being the clincher...Carl

I put in the Fram XG8481 filter when I did my oil change. I'll see how it looks next time the oil change comes up.

This is the first time changing oil in my crossfire (which I love) however looking at the oil filter there are arrows on top which indicate to take the filter off it turns clock wise. That's reverse normal is this correct?

Just like your taking a bolt out or putting one in.. "normal" rotation.. arrow is tighten direction. Neither of my cars show anything other than an arrow.. No "tighten" or "removal" indication at all.
