Default body control module

My dealer says I need a new body control module @ $1880 to fix intermittent problem with passenger window not going up. No way in hell I am paying that. Any ideas guys and gals?

As much as I hate to say it, he MAY be right.
The BCM does sense the 2 window switches, and determine the polarity to send to the window motors.
If it is not an intermittent in the wiring, or a flaky window motor, then a BCM may be the only way to go.

I think the BCM part number is 1938200026 ......
