Default Fuel Filter & Thermostat on Low Mileage Roadster?

Coming up on my 5-year coolant flush this Fall. Car will be 10-years old in Feb with only 29K on the clock. Wondering if I should go ahead and replace the orig thermostat & fuel filter while I'm at it as preventative maintenance. Any thoughts?

Couldn't hurt.
I replace my fuel filter and thermostat at 44K.

Why waste your time, effort and money?

Have you filled the tank with gas from a dirty tank and had problems? If not why bother, gas stations go out of business real quick if they get known for dirty tanks.

Thermostats last for ages these days, not like the old days.

So there's your answer !
Either do it, or don't do it.

Nothing simpler than yeah or nay.

thermostat I would leave alone unless there is a problem, fuel filter/reg should be changed every 40,000 miles

Gents - Appreciate the input. Just trying to find that fine balance point between preventative maintenance vs. overkill.
Thanks.
