Borla Tips
I am getting mixed information on if the tips are oval or round with this catback system. Those of you that own it want to chime in?
Also, can you compare the sound to stock level?

Go to www.borla.com they have a couple of pics, both on and off the car.
The sound is louder but very easy to live with, not intrusive at all.
The car isn't that fast so you don't want a very loud exhaust, it'd look ridiculous.

Making a very loud exhaust sound while being blown away by a 1.8 liter turbocharged Seat Leon is very embarrasing.
Jimbo, in Florida got a "Prototype" BORLA that has round tips and a different resonator, but mine is the production version and it has oval tips.
Many of us wrote to BORLA requesting different tips and told them that we did not really want a round style.
We were sure they would not design a special tip but since the oval is used on other applications I guess that is why they chose them.
AND our voice may not have had anything to do with it but..............................
to my knowledge.....................ALL BORLA production cat-back systems have oval tips!!

Anyone considered replaceing the Cat Cnvrtr with a "high flow" Cat Cnvrtr?

Don't look at that as a negative; you have changed the look and it will take a little getting use to.
There are three reasons to change the exhaust that I can think of offhand;
Improved sound
Improved performance
Appearance
I have listed in order of my priority with the first two being very close together. The third was somewhat a result of first two.

Do you feel the $600 Borla mopar is better in performance and worth the bucks?

I do agree that the stock exhaust is part of the design of the rear of the car, but I'm very glad I payed for the Borla.
