Default Headers

Any update on the headers that both Hooker & Hotshot were supposed to be making for our cars? I am ready to purchase but they are not yet available. Hell, have they even started working on them?

Be patient, you have to take into consideration, that there is no real competition out there, so they have to start from scratch, design it, build it, make fixes, or improvements. Then do some long term tests to make sure it doesn't all go to crap in 4 months from now, then you'll see it out on the market. The mercedes Engines seem to be black, or white when it come to the Air Flow game. They either love it, or hate it. Well actually they all love it, just some need a little ECU/ Timing (Attitude Adjustment). Mercedes Benz has a hit and miss Electrical system in there cars. If you have good one..then you actually have a great one and don't think of that chunk missing from your savings account. If you have the other side, then you have what you would think to be a really expensive rough idling piece of sh*t, and boy do you hate getting those bank statements.

I realize that with the MB's it is hit or miss on airflow. Poorly designed headers are going to lose power on the engine vs. the gain we all want. I am a little impatient as it has been awhile since there was an update and I would like to add some power (right now I prefer to add power without going to an ECU/Pulley solution). If I was near LA I know of an outstanding shop that makes custom headers. Unfortunately they are a bit far.
